Jedan od najvažnijih događaja tokom savjetovanja iz prekršajnopravne oblasti bila je promocija knjige “Komentar zakona o prekršaju Republike Srpske”. Ovaj značajan pravni priručnik djelo je prof.dr Milomir Čodo (Dekan Poslovnog pravnog fakulteta Univerziteta “Privredna akademija”), prof.dr. Ljubinko Mitrović (bivši ombudsmen za ljudska prava BiH) i mr. Dragoslav Erdelič, dok je Univerzitet “Privredna akademija” bio suizdavač.

The book promotion sparked great interest among those present, as it provides a detailed and practical overview of the law on misdemeanors along with an analysis of current legal norms and judicial practice. The authors of the book, professors from the Faculty of Law of the University “Privredna akademija”, emphasized that the goal of this edition is to improve legal theory and practice, and to provide support to judicial authorities in their daily work.

During the consultation, key challenges and opportunities for improving the field of misdemeanor law in Bosnia and Herzegovina were discussed. Judges and prosecutors shared their practical experiences, while ministers presented plans for future legislative reforms.

Professors from the University Privredna akademija contributed to the consultation with their academic insights and research.

The consultation concluded with a series of recommendations for improving the misdemeanor legal framework in the Republika Srpska, including the need for greater education and specialization of judges and prosecutors, as well as other entities that apply both procedural and substantive regulations in this area.
