The President of the City Municipality of Čukarica, Nikola Aritonović, and the President of the Board of Directors of the University “Privredna akademija” Brčko District, Prof. Pero Marković, signed an agreement on international cooperation between these two institutions today.

The signing of the agreement, which aims to contribute to the comprehensive development of society as a whole, with a special emphasis on improving academic, cultural, and economic ties between institutions and communities, was attended by the Deputy President of the City Municipality of Čukarica, Petar Mandić, Municipal Council member Miljan Ćeranić, Deputy President of the Assembly Tijana Šurbatović, and senior assistants of the University “Privredna akademija” Brčko District Srđan Tomić, Saša Žigić, and Ognjen Ivanović.

Through joint action, the City Municipality of Čukarica and the University “Privredna akademija” Brčko District intend to exert a positive influence on improving the quality of education and socio-economic development of both parties through various activities.

Cooperation will be realized through the organization of joint conferences, seminars, and workshops in areas of common interest, the development of joint projects of importance to the academic community and local economy, support for innovation, entrepreneurship, and connecting the educational system with the real sector, as well as cultural exchange and the promotion of common values through various events.
