On April 28, 2025, in Brčko, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Basic Court in Sokolac and the University "Privredna akademija" Brčko. The agreement was signed by the President of the Basic Court in Sokolac, Branka Malović, and the Rector of the University "Privredna akademija", Prof. Dr. Željko Petrić.

This cooperation provides for the development and improvement of joint activities in the fields of education, science, and law. Through this Memorandum, both institutions will exchange experiences and resources, which will allow students and professors better access to practical knowledge and contemporary legal practices.

The cooperation includes the organization of legal clinics, debate competitions, and seminars, which will enable students to participate directly in legal practice and develop their skills in real legal situations. Also, the participation of practitioners in teaching is planned, through which students will have the opportunity to direct their knowledge toward concrete application in the legal system.

The Memorandum also provides for the organization of court visits, which will allow students to become familiar with the work of the court, the practices applied in specific cases, and the way the judicial system functions.

This step further strengthens the cooperation between academic and judicial institutions, creating opportunities for better education, improvement of the legal system, and providing students with a comprehensive educational experience.
