Via the Google Meet tool, on February 24, 2025, organized by the Vice-Rector’s office of the University “Privredna akademija” Brčko District BiH, the 2nd preparatory meeting was held for representatives of higher education institutions: University “Privredna akademija” Brčko District BiH, University of Herzegovina, College of Service Business Sokolac, and public institutions: Public Institution Therapeutic Community Campus of Sarajevo Canton, Public Institution Center for Rehabilitation of Psychoactive Substance Addicts Smoluća, regarding the launch of a joint project of national importance titled “Drug addiction and other types of addiction in the local community.” All meeting participants agreed that launching a project of this kind is of special social importance, and it is particularly significant for higher education institutions whose experience from the project can serve to modernize study programs. It was concluded that by the next meeting, participants will collect appropriate consents and necessary information in their respective environments for the formal launch of the project.
