Based on Article 129 of the Law on Higher Education of Brčko District of BiH (“Official Gazette of Brčko
District of BiH”, No. 30/09, 29/18, 16/20 and 44/22), and Article 69 of the University Statute No. 10-01-1/23 dated
16.10.2023, the Higher Education Institution “Privredna akademija” Brčko District of BiH, announces:
PUBLIC COMPETITION
for the election to the rank of academic staff
In accordance with Article 129 of the Law on Higher Education of Brčko District of BiH (“Official Gazette
of Brčko District of BiH”, No. 30/09, 29/18, 16/20 and 44/22), and Article 69 of the University Statute No. 10-01-1/23 dated 16.10.2023, the University “Privredna akademija” Brčko District of BiH, due to expressed needs for academic staff, announces a public competition for the election to the rank of academic staff from the scientific
fields/areas: mathematics, computer and information sciences, physical sciences, chemical sciences, earth and environmental sciences, biological sciences, civil engineering, electrical engineering, electronics, information engineering, mechanical engineering, materials engineering, chemical engineering, environmental
engineering, industrial biotechnology, nanotechnology, other engineering and technology, agriculture, forestry, fisheries, animal science and dairy science, veterinary science, agricultural biotechnology, psychology, pedagogical sciences, sociology, economics and business, law (copyright and industrial property law, financial law, civil law, Roman law and history of state and law, criminal law and criminal procedure law, international law, business law and company law, labor and social law, theory of state and law, administrative law and public administration, constitutional law), basic medicine, health sciences, health biotechnology, social and economic geography, interdisciplinary social sciences, political sciences, history and archaeology, languages and literature, philosophy, ethics, religion and arts.
Candidates applying for the rank of assistant professor, associate professor, full professor, as well as associates, assistant, senior assistant, and lecturer must meet the requirements of Article 121 of the Law on Higher Education of Brčko District of BiH and must submit documentation as proof of meeting the requirements upon application.
The selection committee will, upon receipt of applications and the submitted documentation, depending on the needs
and fulfillment of requirements, carry out the election to ranks in narrow scientific fields within the above-mentioned scientific
fields/areas.
Send the application for the competition or deliver it in person to the address: University “Privredna akademija” Brčko District of BiH, Petra Kočića Street No. 6, 76100 Brčko, with the note “For the public competition”.
The competition remains open for 15 days from the date of publication in daily newspapers and on the university’s website. Incomplete, incomprehensible, and untimely applications will not be taken into consideration.
Competition documentation will not be returned.
