The University “Privredna akademija” Brčko and the Law Office “Aleksandar Savić” from Bijeljina solemnly signed a Memorandum of Cooperation on April 14, 2025, formalizing the start of joint activities.

The memorandum, signed by representatives of both institutions – Prof. Dr. Željko Petrić on behalf of the University “Privredna akademija” Brčko District BiH and Aleksandar Savić on behalf of the law office, provides for the exchange of knowledge, expertise, and resources in the fields of legal education and practice.

The Law Office “Aleksandar Savić” is considered one of the most prominent in the region, with many years of experience in various fields of law, especially in the domain of commercial, criminal, and administrative law.

It is planned that students of the Faculty of Law and Business of the University “Privredna akademija” Brčko District BiH will have the opportunity to participate in professional internships at the office, as well as to attend simulations of court processes, mentored workshops, and guest lectures by practicing lawyers.

Aleksandar Savić, founder of the law office, pointed out that he is honored to have the opportunity to pass on knowledge and experience to future lawyers, and emphasized the importance of connecting theory with practice. “Our goal is to bring the daily challenges of the legal profession closer to students, so that they can step into the world of law more prepared and self-confident,” said Savić.

The Rector of the University “Privredna akademija”, Prof. Dr. Željko Petrić, emphasized that such cooperation is of exceptional importance for the educational process. “It is important to provide students with insight into a real work environment, and cooperation with law offices provides exactly that – direct contact with practice and current legal issues,” stated Petrić.

This collaboration represents another important step in strengthening the ties between the academic community and the legal profession, with the aim of improving the quality of education and creating competent personnel ready for the labor market.
