The “Privredna akademija” University from Brčko and Effectus University of Applied Sciences for Finance and Law from Zagreb, a reputable higher education institution from the Republic of Croatia, have signed a memorandum of cooperation with the aim of improving educational, scientific-research, and professional activities through international academic exchange and joint projects.
The formal signing of the Memorandum was performed by the Dean of the Effectus University of Applied Sciences for Finance and Law, Dr. sc. Željka Zavišić, and the Rector of the “Privredna akademija” University, Prof. Dr. Željko Petrić.
This cooperation provides for:
- exchange of students at all study cycles,
- exchange of professors and teaching staff to improve the teaching process,
- joint participation in scientific research projects,
- organization of joint scientific conferences, seminars, and workshops,
- publishing of joint scientific papers and publications.
“International cooperation with the Effectus University of Applied Sciences for Finance and Law provides our students and professors with the opportunity to acquire modern knowledge, exchange experiences, and develop skills through high-quality international programs, which will further improve our educational system,” pointed out the Rector of the “Privredna akademija” University, Prof. Dr. Željko Petrić.
The Dean of the Effectus University of Applied Sciences for Finance and Law, Dr. sc. Željka Zavišić, emphasized the importance of regional academic cooperation with the goal of strengthening the educational system and connecting theory with practice.
“This Memorandum represents a significant step towards strengthening the partnership and enables students, professors, and researchers to work together on projects, exchange knowledge, and learn from concrete examples from legal and financial practice,” pointed out Dr. sc. Željka Zavišić.
By signing this Memorandum, the “Privredna akademija” University and the Effectus University of Applied Sciences for Finance and Law from Zagreb lay the foundations for long-term, high-quality, and substantive cooperation that will contribute to the improvement of higher education and scientific-research work in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia.
