Signed Memorandum of Cooperation between the University of Applied Sciences “Effectus,” Zagreb and the University “Privredna akademija,” Brčko

The University “Privredna akademija” from Brčko and Effectus College of Finance and Law from Zagreb, a prestigious higher education institution from the Republic of Croatia, have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation aimed at enhancing educational, scientific-research, and professional activities through international academic exchange and joint projects.

The ceremonial signing of the Memorandum was performed by the Dean of Effectus College of Finance and Law, Dr. Željka Zavišić, and the Rector of the University “Privredna akademija,” Prof. Dr. Željko Petrić.

This cooperation includes:

  • Exchange of students at all levels of study;

  • Exchange of professors and academic staff to improve the teaching process;

  • Joint participation in scientific-research projects;

  • Organization of joint scientific conferences, seminars, and workshops;

  • Publication of joint scientific papers and publications.

“International cooperation with Effectus College of Finance and Law provides our students and professors with the opportunity to acquire modern knowledge, exchange experiences, and develop skills through high-quality international programs, which will further enhance our educational system,” emphasized Prof. Dr. Željko Petrić, Rector of the University “Privredna akademija.”

The Dean of Effectus College of Finance and Law, Dr. Željka Zavišić, highlighted the importance of regional academic cooperation to strengthen the educational system and connect theory with practice.

“This Memorandum represents a significant step toward strengthening the partnership and allows students, professors, and researchers to work together on projects, exchange knowledge, and learn from concrete examples in legal and financial practice,” emphasized Dr. Željka Zavišić.

By signing this Memorandum, the University “Privredna akademija” and Effectus College of Finance and Law from Zagreb lay the foundation for a long-term, high-quality, and meaningful cooperation that will contribute to the advancement of higher education and scientific-research work in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia.
