Stanari, August 12, 2025 – The Municipality of Stanari and the University “Privredna akademija” have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, formalizing the start of joint activities aimed at improving education, professional internships, and the professional development of students.

The memorandum was signed by the Mayor of the Municipality of Stanari, Aleksandar Ristić, and the Rector of the University “Privredna akademija”, Prof. Dr. Željko Petrić. This agreement provides for cooperation in the areas of local development, education, and the provision of practical support to students of various study programs.

Under the terms of the memorandum, students of the University “Privredna akademija” will have the opportunity to participate in projects and activities implemented by the Municipality of Stanari, including field work, professional internships, and workshops.

The Mayor of the Municipality of Stanari, Aleksandar Ristić, expressed his satisfaction with the start of the cooperation with the University, emphasizing the importance of connecting educational institutions with the local community to strengthen the knowledge and skills of young people.

The Rector of the University “Privredna akademija”, Prof. Dr. Željko Petrić, pointed out that such cooperation represents an important step towards connecting theory and practice, and that it will provide students with concrete experience and better preparation for the labor market.

This Memorandum represents a significant contribution to the development of education and the local community through joint projects and the exchange of knowledge.
