Stanari, August 12, 2025 – The Municipality of Stanari and the University “Privredna akademija” have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, officially marking the beginning of joint activities aimed at improving education, professional practice, and the career development of students.

The Memorandum was signed by the Mayor of Stanari, Aleksandar Ristić, and the Rector of the University “Privredna akademija,” Prof. Dr. Željko Petrić. This agreement provides for cooperation in the areas of local development, education, and practical support for students across various study programs.

According to the memorandum, students of the University “Privredna akademija” will have the opportunity to participate in projects and activities implemented by the Municipality of Stanari, including field classes, internships, and workshops.

The Mayor of Stanari, Aleksandar Ristić, expressed his satisfaction with the beginning of cooperation with the University, emphasizing the importance of connecting educational institutions with the local community in order to strengthen the knowledge and skills of young people.

The Rector of the University “Privredna akademija,” Prof. Dr. Željko Petrić, highlighted that such cooperation represents an important step toward linking theory with practice, enabling students to gain concrete experience and better prepare for the labor market.

This Memorandum represents a significant contribution to the development of education and the local community through joint projects and knowledge exchange.
