Stanari, August 12, 2025 – The Municipality of Stanari and the University “Privredna akademija” have signed a memorandum of cooperation, officially marking the beginning of joint activities to improve education, practical experience, and the professional development of students.

The memorandum was signed by the Mayor of the Municipality of Stanari, Aleksandar Ristić, and the Rector of the University “Privredna akademija”, Prof. Dr. Željko Petrić. This agreement provides for cooperation in the areas of local development, education, and practical support for students of various study programs.

According to the terms of the memorandum, students of the University “Privredna akademija” will have the opportunity to participate in projects and activities carried out by the Municipality of Stanari, including field trips, internships, and workshops.

The Mayor of the Municipality of Stanari, Aleksandar Ristić, expressed his satisfaction with the start of the cooperation with the university and emphasized the importance of networking educational institutions with the local community in order to strengthen the knowledge and skills of young people.

The Rector of the University “Privredna akademija”, Prof. Dr. Željko Petrić, highlighted that such cooperation represents an important step towards connecting theory and practice and will enable students to gain concrete experience as well as better preparation for the labor market.

This memorandum represents a significant contribution to the development of education and the local community through joint projects and knowledge exchange.
