The University “Privredna akademija” Brčko District BiH and the Higher Medical School of Health from Doboj have officially established their cooperation by signing a Memorandum, opening the door to joint educational, scientific, and professional activities.

The Memorandum was signed by Prof. Dr. Željko Petrić, Rector of the University “Privredna akademija,” and Doc. Dr. Nikola Nikolić, Director of the Higher Medical School of Health.

The agreement foresees cooperation in several key areas: joint organization and delivery of teaching at all levels of study – undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral; exchange of professors and students; and development of scientific-research personnel. The parties also agreed on the exchange of scientific and professional publications, collaboration between student organizations, and joint participation in and organization of scientific conferences, seminars, and professional gatherings. An important aspect will also be mutual sharing of information on academic activities and collaboration in publishing.

“This cooperation with a higher education institution in the medical sciences field represents new value for our University and an opportunity to jointly contribute to healthcare and education throughout the region,” stated Rector Prof. Dr. Željko Petrić.

Director Doc. Dr. Nikola Nikolić emphasized the importance of this partnership:
“By signing the Memorandum with the University ‘Privredna akademija,’ we open the space for professional development of our staff, knowledge exchange, and involvement in a broader academic and research context, benefiting both our students and the healthcare system as a whole.”

This Memorandum confirms the commitment of both institutions to developing high-quality, modern education, with a focus on multidisciplinarity, collaboration, and supporting young people in acquiring relevant knowledge and skills.
