Signed Agreement on International Cooperation between the Faculty of Business Studies and Law, New Belgrade, Serbia, and the University “Privredna akademija”, Brčko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina

With the aim of enhancing academic cooperation, knowledge exchange, and strengthening international relations in the field of higher education, the University “Privredna akademija” of the Brčko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Faculty of Business Studies and Law from New Belgrade, Republic of Serbia, have signed an Agreement on International Cooperation.
The signing ceremony was held in the presence of representatives of both institutions, and the agreement was signed by Prof. Dr. Željko Petrić, Rector of the University “Privredna akademija,” and Prof. Dr. Milan Radosavljević, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Business Studies and Law.
This agreement establishes the foundations for long-term and productive cooperation in several areas that contribute to improving the quality of higher education, the development of scientific research activities, and the strengthening of competencies of students and academic staff.
Key Objectives of Cooperation
The agreement provides for a wide range of joint activities, with particular emphasis on the following:

Exchange of professors and students, enabling the acquisition of new knowledge and experiences, as well as mutual understanding of academic practices within different educational systems.

Organization of and participation in joint scientific research projects, aimed at developing innovative ideas, publishing research results, and strengthening research capacities.

Exchange of information on research outcomes, as well as the promotion of good practice in teaching and research.

Development of scientific and research staff through professional development programs, mentoring, and joint seminars.

Cooperation in publishing activities, including the publication of scientific and professional papers, monographs, and conference proceedings.

Cooperation between libraries through the exchange of books, publications, and electronic resources, thereby enriching the academic collections of both institutions.

Networking of student organizations through the implementation of joint projects, conferences, study visits, and cultural and educational activities.
Significance for the Academic Community
The Rector of the University “Privredna akademija,” Prof. Dr. Željko Petrić, emphasized that this agreement represents an important step in strengthening the University’s international visibility and expanding opportunities for students and academic staff.
“Our goal is to provide students and professors with access to contemporary trends in education and science. Cooperation with reputable higher education institutions in the region opens opportunities for joint progress and the exchange of ideas that contribute to the modernization of teaching processes,” Rector Petrić stated.
The Acting Dean of the Faculty of Business Studies and Law, Prof. Dr. Milan Radosavljević, expressed his satisfaction with the established cooperation, emphasizing that this agreement will serve as a basis for the implementation of concrete projects and activities that will contribute to the quality of education and the development of professional competencies of young people.

The Agreement on International Cooperation represents another step taken by the University “Privredna akademija” of the Brčko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina toward strengthening its international reputation, academic mobility, and connections with educational institutions in the region and across Europe.
