The University “Privredna akademija” Brčko District BiH and the Polytechnic “Marko Marulić” from Knin officially marked the beginning of their academic cooperation by signing a Memorandum on April 17, creating opportunities for joint educational and scientific activities, as well as the exchange of knowledge and experience between the two higher education institutions.

The Memorandum was signed by Prof. Dr. Željko Petrić, Rector of the University “Privredna akademija,” and Dr. Sc. Marijana Drinovac Topalović, Professor of Professional Studies, representing the Polytechnic “Marko Marulić.”

The agreement covers cooperation in multiple areas: organization and delivery of teaching at all levels of study, exchange of students and academic staff, development of scientific-research potential, joint scientific and professional projects, as well as collaboration within student organizations and publishing activities. Additionally, it includes joint participation in conferences, seminars, and professional gatherings, along with ongoing exchange of information on academic activities.

“With this Memorandum, we are laying the foundation for quality international cooperation that will provide our students and faculty with additional opportunities for learning, professional development, and research,” emphasized Rector Petrić.

Dr. Sc. Marijana Drinovac Topalović highlighted the importance of cooperation with an institution from BiH:
“The Polytechnic ‘Marko Marulić’ recognizes the importance of regional networking among higher education institutions, and we believe this cooperation will contribute to improving teaching quality, practical training, and joint development initiatives.”

By signing this Memorandum, both institutions reaffirm their commitment to enhancing higher education through the exchange of experiences, knowledge, and collaborative work for the benefit of their students and the academic community as a whole.
