The University “Privredna akademija” from Brčko District BiH and the Higher Technical School of Professional Studies from Subotica have signed an agreement on international cooperation, establishing the foundation for joint work in enhancing higher education, scientific-research activities, and student exchange.

The agreement was ceremonially signed by the Rector of the University “Privredna akademija,” Prof. Dr. Željko Petrić, and the Director of the Higher Technical School of Professional Studies Subotica, Dr. Igor Fürstner.

The aim of this cooperation is to organize teaching at graduate and postgraduate levels, exchange professors and students, develop scientific-research staff, and collaborate in publishing activities and student organization initiatives.

“By signing this agreement, we are opening the doors to concrete projects that will contribute to higher-quality education and stronger international connectivity of our institutions,” stated Prof. Dr. Željko Petrić.

Director Dr. Igor Fürstner emphasized the importance of connecting educational institutions from different countries in the region:
“Cooperation with the University ‘Privredna akademija’ will provide our students and professors with a broader academic horizon, joint projects, and the exchange of knowledge and experience, which is invaluable for modern education.”

The agreement also foresees cooperation in organizing scientific gatherings, seminars, professional workshops, as well as participation in joint national and international projects. Special focus will be placed on strengthening the capacities of student organizations and mutual support in extracurricular activities.

This cooperation represents a significant step in the international linking of educational institutions and further contributes to enhancing the quality of higher education in the region.
