RID Transport, a company from Brčko engaged in domestic and international freight transport, and the University “Privredna akademija” from Brčko District BiH, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation on May 22, establishing the foundation for joint work in the fields of education, practical training, and professional orientation of students.

The Memorandum was officially signed by Dražen Ružičić, on behalf of RID Transport, and Prof. Dr. Željko Petrić, Rector of the University “Privredna akademija.”

The aim of this cooperation is to connect the academic community with the business sector through the organization of internships for students, joint educational activities, knowledge and experience exchange, and strengthening students’ competencies for the labor market.

“By signing this memorandum, we are opening the doors for concrete projects that will allow students to gain a better understanding of the real business environment and add additional value to our educational process,” stated Prof. Dr. Željko Petrić.

Dražen Ružičić, representative of RID Transport, emphasized the importance of cooperation with educational institutions:

“We believe that such partnerships contribute to the development of young professionals who will drive future economic growth, and as a company, we are happy to share practical knowledge and provide them with valuable experience.”

This cooperation also foresees joint activities such as professional workshops, lectures, company visits to RID Transport, and participation in projects that connect the academic and business communities.

This memorandum represents a step toward stronger integration of higher education with the real sector and contributes to better preparing students for the professional challenges they will face after graduation.
