Brčko, June 9, 2025 – The College “Akademija za poslovnu ekonomiju,” Čačak, and the University “Privredna akademija,” Brčko District BiH, have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, officially marking a partnership aimed at enhancing higher education, knowledge exchange, professional practice, and joint participation in projects of academic and societal significance.
The Memorandum was signed by the Director of the College “Akademija za poslovnu ekonomiju,” Čačak, Aleksandar Cvetković, and the Rector of the University “Privredna akademija,” Prof. Dr. Željko Petrić.
This agreement foresees broad cooperation in organizing joint scientific gatherings, seminars, workshops, and conferences, as well as the exchange of academic staff and students between the two educational institutions. Special emphasis is placed on improving professional practice and preparing students through fieldwork and joint research projects.
Students from both institutions will have the opportunity to participate in exchange programs, attend guest lectures, and actively engage in international and domestic projects organized by the partners.
Aleksandar Cvetković, Director of the College “Akademija za poslovnu ekonomiju,” emphasized that signing this Memorandum represents an important step in strengthening regional cooperation and creating modern educational models that provide students with greater opportunities for professional development.
The Rector of the University “Privredna akademija,” Prof. Dr. Željko Petrić, highlighted that this is another significant step in connecting the academic community with industry and educational institutions in the region. “Such cooperation provides students with added value through practical experience and inter-institutional activities that prepare them for a competitive labor market,” stated Petrić.
The Memorandum lays the foundation for future joint projects and confirms the commitment of both parties to actively work on enhancing education, science, and professional practice, for the benefit of students and the wider community.
