Master’s Degree – Civil Engineering

Master of Engineers (on the appropriate module)

After completing all the curricula foreseen in the curriculum for two semesters, the student who has chosen the Master’s thesis receives a certificate of completion of the study program with 60 ECTS credits, namely the Master of Engineers in the appropriate module – 60 ECTS.

Master of Civil Engineering is a person who has acquired advanced knowledge and skills in the field of civil engineering, which includes the design, construction, and management of construction projects. Graduates of this program have extensive knowledge of structures, materials, hydro technics, geotechnics, urbanism, civil law, and economics. They are trained to solve complex technical problems and develop and implement new technologies and tools in construction, and project management. Master of Civil Engineering can work in the private sector, public companies, government agencies, and consulting firms or opt for further academic research and work through doctoral studies.

Master of Architecture Engineering is a person who has acquired advanced knowledge and skills in the field of architecture, which includes the design, planning, and design of buildings and spaces. Graduates of this program have knowledge of architectural theory, architectural history, urbanism, ecology and sustainability, construction technology, and construction. They are trained to solve complex technical and aesthetic problems in the design of objects and spaces and to apply new technologies and tools in architecture. A Master of Architecture Engineer can work in the private sector, public companies, government agencies, and consulting firms or opt for further academic research and work through doctoral studies.

Master of Mining Engineering is a person who has acquired advanced knowledge and skills in the field of mining, which includes the processes of extraction, preparation, processing, and transport of mineral raw materials. Graduates of this program have knowledge of geology, geotechnics, mining machines and equipment, mineral enrichment processes, mining sustainability, and environmental protection. They are trained to solve complex technical problems in mining, develop new technologies and tools, and manage mining projects. Master of Geological Engineering is a person who has acquired advanced knowledge and skills in the field of geology, which includes the study of the structure, composition, and physical and chemical properties of the Earth’s crust, and the processes that affect it. Graduates of this program have knowledge of minerals, rocks, geological cartography, geophysics, hydrogeology, seismology, and other disciplines that are important for geology. They are trained to solve complex technical problems in geological research, develop new technologies and tools, and manage projects in the field of geology. Master of Geology Engineer can work in mining companies, the oil and gas industry, geotechnical companies, and consulting companies or opt for further academic research and work through doctoral studies.

Master of Geodesy Engineering is a person who has acquired advanced knowledge and skills in the field of geodesy, which includes the study and measurement of the Earth’s surface and its features. Master of Forestry Engineering has advanced knowledge in the field of forestry, including forest management, forest cultivation and care, forest ecology, forest protection from fires and pests, wood processing technology, and wood products production, and also has the skills to solve various problems in forestry. Master of Horticulture Engineer can work in various horticulture-related sectors, such as public administration, the private sector, consulting companies, environmental organizations, and other institutions dealing with landscaping.
