Bachelor’s Degree – Information Technologies

Information technologies; Software engineering; Artificial intelligence

These Study Programs will encompass the technical scientific field of information technologies, and three cycles of academic studies. The first cycle will last for four years (240 ECTS).

The student who chooses the graduate thesis after passing all the courses provided by the curriculum for eight semesters receives a certificate of the completed study program with 240 ECTS credits, namely a graduate information technology engineer or a graduate information technology engineer based on the selected elective courses on the selected module – 240 ECTS.

Information technologies

Information technologies (IT) are a set of technologies and tools for processing, storing, transmitting, and managing information. This includes software applications, hardware devices, network communications, security protocols, and other technological tools and techniques.

The IT industry is one of the fastest-growing industries in the world and plays a key role in the global economy. Its application is wide and can be seen in all aspects of everyday life, including education, work, entertainment, communication, banking, health, and many other areas.

IT experts develop, implement and maintain various types of technological solutions, such as software applications, networks, databases, security systems, websites, mobile applications, and others. They also play a key role in developing new technologies, such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, blockchain, and the Internet of Things (IoT).

A career in IT can be extremely challenging and dynamic and includes a variety of roles, including programmers, engineers, analysts, designers, database administrators, security experts, project managers, and many others. The constant development of new technologies and changes in the industry ensures a constant demand for professionals in this field.

Software Engineering

Software Engineering is a discipline that deals with software development, design, testing, and maintenance. This discipline covers all aspects of the software process, including requirements development, architectural design, coding, testing, software implementation, and maintenance.

The goal of software engineering is to develop software products that are high quality, reliable, scalable, sustainable, and efficient. To achieve this, software engineers use a systematic approach to software development, which involves the use of processes and standards, as well as various methodologies, tools, and techniques.

In software engineering, there are many different roles, including developers, architects, testers, user interface designers, database experts, project managers, and many others. Different roles include different tasks and responsibilities, but all work together to ensure the successful delivery of the software product.

Software engineering is an important discipline in today’s world, as more and more business processes and social activities require software support. Software engineers are critical to developing new technologies, applications, and solutions that improve people’s lives and businesses.

Artificial Intelligence

Studying artificial intelligence is a very popular choice for students who want to be involved in the development of innovative technologies and computer systems. This study program usually includes courses in computer science, mathematics, and statistics.

Students are usually introduced to the basics of programming and computer systems, and then focus on specific concepts of artificial intelligence, such as data-driven learning, deep learning, natural language processing, robotics, and many others.

In addition, students may also have the opportunity to work on projects that apply the skills acquired during their studies. These projects may include the development of applications that use artificial intelligence, the construction of robots and other autonomous control systems, data analysis, and other similar tasks.

Upon graduation, students with this knowledge can be employed in various sectors, including technology companies, research centers, healthcare institutions, financial institutions, and many other industries that use artificial intelligence.
